Walnut Creek celebrates a Day of Awesome

The Hawks enjoyed a jam-packed Day of Awesome on Friday after raising a school record $35,004 in their annual PTSA fundraiser. Each grade spent an hour and a half in the gym, which was decked out with inflatable obstacle courses, games and a DJ. Students also celebrated Take Your Parent to Lunch Day as a special treat.
