Walled Lake Northern seniors etch names in tennis record books

The Walled Lake Northern boys’ tennis team took home its fourth-straight Lakes Valley Conference title capping another perfect season in LVC play.

The Knights went undefeated against their league opponents marking their fourth consecutive perfect regular season and an incredible 28-0 record during that stretch. Seniors Dean Babbington, Brad Bellinger and Brady Frelich are also the first senior class in program history to go undefeated in league play throughout their entire four-year high school career. Just as impressive, Frelich has a perfect league record in all four years of varsity competition as well.

Walled Lake Northern will now prepare for the MHSAA Division 1 Regional Championships on Thursday, October 9, at Brighton.
